MISERY OF THE IMAGE is a series of paintings characterized by the use of oil mixed with egg tempera. In these paintings I represent the difficulty of the contemporary painter to consolidate images capable of overcoming the superabundance of images in the digital environment.

The paintings are made up of shreds of images that, in their impotent struggle to come together in a coherent unit, end up floating in the indeterminate space of possibility.
